Taylor and Brooke's love story began in Champaign, Illinois back in 2013. Taylor was in his sophomore year at the University of Illinois while Brooke was a sophomore at Mizzou. Brooke was home visiting friends on campus and met Taylor for the first time while at the Red Lion establishment. While there was an initial attraction and some text messages exchanged, they did not pursue a relationship at the time. Several moves and years later, they both found themselves living in Chicago. After multiple attempts at making plans, they finally went on their first date in December of 2021 at Siena Tavern, followed by drinks at Bub City in Chicago. In August of 2023, they returned to Siena Tavern where Taylor proposed. Their families surprised them at Bub City after for a night of celebrating!
