We’re getting married!!!

Sara and Preston met at GCU while fighting COVID! Sara transferred from the GCU Health & Wellness Center where she was an MA, to Preston’s department with Emergency Preparedness where he was an Emergency Manager. While the two did not begin dating until a year later, their friendship and ability to work well with one another was quickly recognized. They both wrote health policies for the university and Sara provided the clinical skills necessary to fight COVID-19. They worked well together! Sara returned home for the summer in May 2021 and they both went about their lives until Sara randomly traveled from SoCal to Phx to meet with her guidance counselor (late July 2021). When on campus she spontaneously ran into an old coworker (Khalid) who mentioned Preston. She wanted her old job back so she went to speak with her supervisor Marcus (and see preston). When Preston and Sara saw each other for the first time in months there was immediate chemistry. They began dating 1 month later! They were required to keep their relationship a secret because HR said no, but they said yes! Sara and Preston defied the odds and strict policies of GCU which led to their marriage today! Heavenly Father truly had a hand in their meeting and has guided their relationship moving forward! Since then, Preston joined the USCG where he finished OCS as an ESN and became a well-respected Marine Inspector! This new career path has led Sara and Preston to the big apple to begin their first few years as a married couple.
