To be honest, Micah and I don't really remember how we met – the memory seems to have slipped away in the chaos of 8th-grade math class. Back then, our interactions were more about determining who was better at math problems and who could annoy the other more. It wasn't until high school that our friendship took root and blossomed. Even as college life took us on separate adventures, our connection persisted. FaceTiming and sharing memes became pretty common between us as we went to different colleges. Little did we know that the twists of fate, paired with a global pandemic, would lead us back to our hometown. During the unexpected reunion brought on by the Covid quarantine, we found ourselves creating memories that high school versions of us would find quite surprising. From beach escapades to Sonic runs, our friendship took a turn, and before we knew it, love found its way into our hearts.
My friends and I got dressed up one evening for what I thought was a friend photoshoot. Little did I know, this was no ordinary photoshoot. We drove to the photoshoot spot, which just so happened to be the park where Micah asked me to be his girlfriend. As we were walking, I spotted Micah standing near a lookout. He had framed pictures of us everywhere as well as candles - it was beautiful. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and I said UH, YEAH!!! Now we are getting married, and we can't wait for all of you to party with us on our special day!
