What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to join us in semi-formal attire. Gentlemen, a suit or blazer with dress pants is preferred. Ladies, a midi-maxi length dress would be ideal.

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes there is! There will be signage pointing you where to park once you arrive to the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will provide shuttles to ensure guests can enjoy the evening safely. Shuttles will pick up guests at The Landing and The Landmark before the ceremony (further details on shuttle locations will be shared soon). From 9 p.m. to midnight, shuttles will be available to transport guests back to The Landing, The Landmark, or nearby locations upon request when boarding.

What is there to do at The Alpine Resort?

Answer

The Alpine Resort is right on the water. Between the cabins and on the shoreline are chairs and fire pit tables. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks to keep in your cabins. There are two restaurants on site with bars, Burton's on the Bay and Burton's on the Green. There is also a 9-hole golf course for those interested in setting up a tee time. There is a tennis and basketball court onsite as well. Just down the road is a public beach!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, and the cocktail hour and reception will be held under a sailcloth tent. Depending on the weather, there may be sides to the tent assembled to block wind or rain.

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm CT. We recommend finding your seat 10 minutes beforehand. Please sit on either side of the aisle. :)

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by May 15th so we can include you in our celebrations.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend booking lodging as soon as you can since Door County fills up fast in the summer! The Landmark Resort is a wonderful option very close to the venue. There are also cottages and clubhouses onsite at Alpine available to book.
