Getting To Ronda
We recommend two different ways of getting to Ronda: 1. Fly direct to Madrid, then take a train to Ronda. Iberia Air, American Airlines and Delta offer the best rates. From Madrid, there’s typically multiple trains per day to Ronda (about a 4.5 hour ride). Renfe is the train company, linked below. The Ronda train station is centrally located and both of our hotel recommendations are about a 10-15 minute walk from the station. This option tends to be less expensive, but longer than option 2. 2. Fly to Malaga, direct or with layover, then train or cab to Ronda (about 1 hour 20 minutes). These flights are typically more expensive but it cuts down on travel transfers and time. United offers direct flights multiple times a week from Newark. Whether you’re arriving to the Ronda train station or to the Malaga airport, please let Krissy and Jack know what day and time and we will arrange for transportation to your hotel.

Parador de Ronda
Paradors are a network of state-run hotels found across Spain and Portugal. They are beautiful properties that were once castles, monasteries, convents, or governmental buildings that have now been restored and repurposed. The Parador de Ronda is centrally located right off Plaza España and sits right at the gorge edge.

Hotel Catalonia Ronda
Hotel Catalonia Ronda is a modern hotel in central Ronda. It’s located right next to the famous Plaza de Toros (bull ring), and has an amazing view of both that and the valley beyond (where the wedding will take place!). The rooftop pool and restaurant are a great spot for siesta time. They have a ridiculous breakfast buffet so if you’re as obsessed with breakfast as Krissy is, we highly recommend… To book a room, contact the hotel by phone (+34 952 870 300) or email (ronda.booking@cataloniahotels.com) and indicate your name, phone number, and email. Please note it is for “Wedding Kristina & Jack.” The will release half the room block on March 10th, and all remaining on May 10th, so please book accordingly!
