The health and safety of our friends and family remain our number one priority. The State of California expects to fully reopen by June 15th and we expect to be able to host all of you. Currently, Sonoma County (as well as much of the Bay Area) is requiring masks indoors for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, to slow the spread of the Delta variant. Luckily for us, all events are fully outside so we do not see this impacting us. The state of California is fully open with no capacity/social distancing requirements or quarantine requirements for travelers. At this time, all guests at our wedding are required to be fully vaccinated but that may change as the state reopens. The fact that the entire wedding is outside will benefit us. For now, requiring vaccinations will allow us to have as close to a pre-COVID wedding as possible given the circumstances. This California girl and the Boston boy met in November 2015 on a dating app. Our first date was for drinks in downtown San Francisco, which quickly turned into dinner and a three-hour first date (despite Kevin's creepy 11-day old mustache he was growing for Movember). We shared a bowl of mac and cheese (obviously) and laughed A LOT. Not much has changed in the last five years, we still eat mac and cheese and laugh A LOT. Kevin proposed almost three years to the day later. We made plans to spend the weekend in Calistoga to celebrate our anniversary. During a quick walk, Kevin got down on one knee at the top of an overlook surrounded by giant agave plants and oak trees. The rest is history! After what will be almost a three-year engagement, Kevin and Dana are very excited to finally tie the knot in August 2021.
