We met on our high school winter track team in November, but it wasn't until January that Wes made his move by sending me an Instagram DM asking me for my Snapchat. We began chatting with each other every day and then Wes asked me to be his date at his senior prom. Pretty much, the rest is history and here we are now counting down to our wedding day!

We were in Clearwater Beach, Florida celebrating our first vacation together. We had made plans to go out to eat at a nice restaurant, followed by getting some ice cream to take to the beach to sit and watch the sunset. We were unaware of how packed the beach would be, so Wes made us walk 20 minutes before finally settling on a spot to sit and watch the sunset (the ice cream was long gone at this point). Wes wanted to take pictures, so he set up his tripod and we took a couple of pictures together. Wes suddenly said, "Turn around!" and seemed to take forever to get ready. I basically knew what was going to happen at this point, and my heart was beating out of my chest. Finally, Wes told me to turn back around and there he was on one knee with the most gorgeous ring! Since you are reading this, it is pretty obvious what my answer was!
