Despite both Jayme & Wes attending Longwood University at the same time, they didn’t know each other until several years after graduation. Jayme was already living in Baltimore when Wes moved there for work. A mutual friend who helped him move-in introduced them that night. They clicked instantly! Jayme & Wes went on their first official date the next day and have been together ever since. In fact, they are getting married exactly 5 years after meeting.

Jayme & Wes were on a ski vacation in Steamboat Springs, CO with family and friends. Wes was insisting they get professional photos taken at the top of the gondola. He typed out “I’m going to propose!” and showed the photographer, disguising it as a request to recreate a photo from a previous trip. Despite being 20 degrees, the photographer convinced Jayme to take off her gloves. After a few photos, Wes got down on one knee and she said YES! After the photoshoot, they joined their friends, popped champagne, and skied the rest of the day.
