Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP to the wedding events through our wedding website via the RSVP tab.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is an outdoor wedding, please dress to your comfort level and also accordingly to the weather, we want you to be comfortable and have fun with us as long as you can.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Daily high temperatures range from 73°F to 63°F, rarely falling below 52°F or exceeding 83°F. Daily low temperatures range from 59°F to 48°F, rarely falling below 39°F or exceeding 68°F.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, we will be serving appetizers during cocktail hour and serving ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, and green beans for dinner catered by the Carriage House Inn from Emmitsburg, MD. Kids will also have the option of being served Macaroni and Cheese with Chicken Tenders and a cup of fruit. There will also be an open bar serving beer and wine along with apple cider and coffee. The bar will also be serving the Bride and Groom’s two favorite mixed drinks as well.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes, please let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate any special diets.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ImesgonnabeaWelti so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Will there be over night parking at the venue?

Answer

No, unfortunately the venue does not allow this.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing a shuttle to and from the venue from the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Frederick. Please see the Places to Stay tab for details on the departure times.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, of course kids are welcome! However, while we love your little ones, we encourage to make other arrangements for our wedding so that everyone can have fun, relax and enjoy the evening dancing and celebrating with us. We will have plenty of yard games and activities for the kids to play as well so they will have plenty to do during the celebration. The venue is adamant about keeping kids supervised though during the event so just plan accordingly.
