Answer

Please find the following schedule offered by Geiger limo rentals: CEREMONY: If your lodging is on 92nd street or a lower street (Desert Sand, Windrift, Icona, Beachcomber, etc.) please report in front of the BEACHCOMBER @ 4:05 p.m. The bus leaves @ 4:10 p.m. for the ceremony. If your lodging is on 93rd or a higher street (The Reeds, Stone Harbor Inn, The Lark Motel, Sun N Sands Motel, etc.) Stop 1 leaves at 4:00 p.m. from the Corner of 98th and 2nd Avenue (near the Lark Motel) Stop 2 leaves at 4:05 p.m. from the Sun N' Sands Motel (on 102nd) Stop 3 leaves at 4:10 p.m. from the Reeds (on 96th) RECEPTION: Buses will be waiting after the ceremony to take guests to the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor. It is also walkable down 88th Street (about ten minute walk). POST-RECEPTION AND AFTER PARTY: One bus will drop guests at the Windrift for the after party, and then it will drop guests who wish to go home in front of the Beachcomber (78th and Dune). The other bus will be available to take guests home who are staying on the higher streets (The Reeds, Stone Harbor Inn, The Lark Motel, Sun N Sands Motel, etc.). The buses will run until 11:30 p.m.

Question

Is there parking for the welcome party?

Answer

The streets surrounding the Reeds have parking, but you will need to download the ParkMobile app. Parking is enforced until 9 p.m. if you park farther from 96th and walk, there is generally free street parking. Ubers are also generally available!

Question

Is there parking at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! For the ceremony, there is free street parking on 88th street. We will have two buses doing laps (see above). For the reception, there is parking at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor and also street parking on the neighboring streets.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones but this will be an adults-only event!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is ~beachy cocktail~. For the ladies, that means midi/long dresses. For men, please wear a suit or sport jacket. Tie optional.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests at this time. Your invitation will be made out to “your name” “and guest” if a plus one has been given to you.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

We are monitoring the weather and are still planning to have the ceremony on 88th street beach! There is a covered area leading up to the beach to wait underneath until the ceremony if it is sprinkling. However, in the event of thunderstorms, we will pivot to the Yacht Club.
