As we all continue to adapt in an uncertain time with COVID-19, we, our venue and our vendors will be taking every precaution necessary to make our outdoor wedding safe for our guests. We understand that choosing to attend larger gatherings is a personal decision and must be made with an abundance of caution and consideration. We don't recall when we first met each other and don't actually believe we were ever formally introduced to one another. But after Becca moved home from college in 2016, we found ourselves at various political and community events with each other. CJ recalls one specific volunteer event where we talked about our shared love for classical things, traditional values and future plans. CJ, who never pictured himself settling down, now found himself picturing a life with Sunday morning coffee, couples golf leagues and date nights. As many of you know, CJ does not jump into anything without doing thorough research, weighing the pros and cons and calculating every move. He asked a mutual friend, Lindsey, what she thought his chances were. In true Lindsey style, she bluntly told him that he didn’t have a chance. However, as most of you also know, CJ doesn’t give up without a fight. After nearly a year of declining CJ’s persistent invitations to casually hangout, Becca eventually found herself intrigued by CJ’s dapper style, numerous activities and strong opinions. On New Year’s Eve 2017 Becca, with a little help from some liquid encouragement and a nudge from Lindsey, made the first move. The rest is history.
