What do I wear?

Answer

Our wedding theme is vintage tropical vacation! So a summer dress, shorts and Hawaiian shirt is perfect. Your dancing feet will be at home in slip on shoes, sandals, or flip flops. Our wedding is in July and the temperature can be a little on the hotter side, so please be comfortable. We do not require or suggest any formal attire. Just wear what you would to a Hawaiian luau or a lovely beachside dinner.

Children?

Answer

We love your children and would love to celebrate with them. However, we regretfully can not accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers.

COVID?

Answer

COVID is on the forefront of our minds and concerns. Right now, case numbers continue to increase especially in Los Angeles. That being said our venue is considered indoors but we will provide maximum ventilation and air circulation along with the highest level of filtration they can provide. We are totally ok with our friends and family masking as they wish. Your comfort level is important to us. We also will completely understand if being indoors makes you uncomfortable and you choose to decline. Your hearts will be with us. We may make changes to Covid requirements as we get closer to the wedding date, so please check back here for updated information.

Parking!

Answer

Valet is on us! There will be valet attendants outside of the entrance of our venue. All we ask is to provide a tip for our awesome valets. Your cars will be parked in a secured parking lot. However, if you want to party it up and do not want to drive, Ubers and Lyfts are easy to come by in the area.

What kind of venue is it?

Answer

We are so excited to be married at the Valentine in Downtown Los Angeles. This is an historic building that was once a hotel and a brothel back in the day. It was converted into the beautiful venue as you will see it today. It is considered an indoor venue with a stunning greenhouse roof. The indoor dining area is lined with gorgeous tropical murals. There is an outdoor patio area located in the back of the venue.

What's the weather like in July?

Answer

Well..... its hot! Average temperature is around 81 degrees.

Can I take pictures and post them on social media?

Answer
