We're Getting Married!

Our story began when we decided to meet in Jupiter, FL for a casual night of drinks at a local restaurant. Immediately, we hit it off with easy conversation. It happened to be a Wednesday night and we both are fans of the live music at Guanabanas restaurant. Deciding we didn't want the night to end, we went together to listen to the music. To get away from the crowd, we walked down to sit on the dock and continued the easy conversation. Almost four years later, we would be back at that exact spot for a very special moment.

Evan suggested we go to Guanabanas for a live band on Sunday. Typically, Guanabanas doesn't have a live band on Sunday, but Sarah went along with the plan anyway. Even though it was a gorgeous, sunny day, Evan needed to bring a rain jacket (weird). After we grabbed a bite to eat, we took our drinks down to the dock where we had gone on our first date. We sat for a while just reminiscing on where we met and how it was almost four years ago to the date. As we got up to leave, Evan stopped and got down on one knee and popped the question! Now it makes sense as to why he was carrying around this rain jacket on a sunny day (to hide the ring)! Evan explained that the two diamonds in the setting have been in his family for four generations, with one from his great-grandmother's ring and one from his grandmother's ring.
