Officiant
When Emily and Warren began forming their wedding party and thinking about who would officiate their ceremony, Tim is the first person they thought of. Tim and Warren have been friends for nearly 10 years, and he's one of the first friends Warren introduced Emily to. Tim's sense of humor, style, and unique personality are things Warren and Emily cherish and are excited to include on their big day!
Dog of Honor
Emily and Warren dreamed of getting a pug named "Clyde" in the early stages of their relationship. After much waiting, the two finally welcomed Clyde in December 2017 and became a family of three. We are so excited to include our special pup in our big day!
Maid of Honor
Big sis to the bride. Despite the seventeen year age difference, these two share those same blue eyes, wacky family trees, gratifying obsession with Doctor Pimple Popper, and love for each other. When Emily was a young tot, she wanted to be just like Karen when she grew up. Emily even attempted pre-nursing classes in college just to follow in her big sister's footsteps, but wound up a communication major instead.
Groomsman
Richard is one of Warren's younger brothers. Although he may be taller, skinnier, and smarter than Warren, he will always be #2 to Warren's #1. It's a fact he's still trying to get over after 30 years. As children, Warren and Richard wrestled and fought each other constantly, but as adults, they've grown to love spending time together, riding bikes, acting silly, and repeating the same joke thousands of times without it getting old.
Maid of Honor
If friends can be soulmates, Loraine is it. These two knew they were destined for great friendship after meeting at a dance class in 2009. Through college themed parties (Jersey Shore - yikes!), being coworkers once upon a time, indulging in finer things like queso and hot cheetos, slumber parties, many countless escapades, and even helping the groom pick out the engagement ring - here we are!
Groomsman
Steve is Warren's second sibling, the youngest of the three Duff boys. Steve may be 12 years younger than Warren, but the two still share many commonalities, including extremely expressive faces, a love for being in the water and being better at bodysurfing than Richard, and having strong, sometimes unfounded, opinions on any number of things.
Bridesmaid
Another relationship established via SendGrid. Emily met and interviewed Margho while Margho was interviewing for a job Emily was also interviewing for (Margho got the job). A friendship was soon born for the then young-20-somethings. This dynamic duo are each other's go-tos. They enjoy long walks on the Santa Cruz boardwalk, motivating each other in workout classes, and drooling over cute pugs and dachshunds.
Groomsman
Warren met Brandon while studying at Western State College in Gunnison, CO. Over their 16-year friendship, they've shared innumerable experiences together, including late nights singing along to punk rock songs, getting bad tattoos in Southwestern Colorado, eating burritos in alleys in San Diego, and (more recently) riding bikes long distances together.
Bridesmaid
These gal pals go way back. And by way back we mean the terrible adolescent phase of acne, braces, and being straight-up awkward. Lauren and Emily became besties after rooming together at pom's camp the summer before their freshman year of high school (ask us about the braces-getting-stuck-to-the-mattress story sometime). These two frequented Blockbuster and memorized almost every line of Wayne's World. Thanks to Lauren, Emily transferred to CU Boulder in 2011 and got into the startup tech world. They're childhood, college, and adulting friends all in one.
Groomsman
Mike and Warren met playing ultimate frisbee in Denver. While drafting a team, Warren randomly added Mike, and almost instantly appreciated his sense of humor and personality. The two lived together for nearly three years and have played on numerous frisbee teams together. Some of Warren's fondest memories of Mike include him running after strangers on Halloween, ringing in the new year in the Baker neighborhood of Denver, and searching for our campsite together in Versailles, OH (not Versailles, France).
Bridesmaid
Jess and Emily met their junior year of college as roommates at CU Boulder. They soon fell in friendship love over many shared blonde moments and the trials of living with five other women. Luckily, they were a roommate success story and lived together for the rest of college. On the weekends, you could find them braving 20 degree weather wearing crop tops. Today, they've ditched crop tops for home improvements (Jess) and wedding planning (Emily).
Groomswoman
Ellen and Warren met through ultimate frisbee and their mutual friends Mike and Peter Simpson. They've been close for years now. From holiday costume parties (dressing as a holiday) to adventures in Indianapolis, to harrowing stories of stingrays and coconuts in Panama, Ellen and Warren are usually scheming of ways to one-up each other. Ellen's eagerness to laugh and have fun are excellent additions to any party, especially a wedding party.
