Restaurants & Bars Near The Line

Light bites and dessert will be provided during the Welcome Party, but if you would like to grab dinner or snacks before joining us, some of our favorite neighborhood places are: Al Volo Osteria – cozy spot right next to The Line with tasty pasta and Italian food Lapis – great Afghan cuisine in ground floor of Winnie’s old apartment building in DC Perry’s – more upscale sushi restaurant a block from The Line Roofers Union – for bar bites and a rooftop overlooking 18th street, head to one of our go-to neighborhood spots Madam’s Organ – pop into this Adams Morgan institution for a cheap beer and some live music Duccini’s Pizza – if you’d like to experience a classic DC jumbo slice (before or after the Welcome Party), Duccini’s is the best (no debate) Duke’s Grocery – our usual first stop when back in town, go to Duke’s for the best burger in town and other gastro pub style fare. One of our top recommendations!
