We’re getting married!

Katie and Mike’s story began in the most modern of ways: a swipe right on Hinge. With a mutual love for comedy, it was only fitting that their first date took place at a comedy show, with laughter and an effortless chemistry. The initial dates were a series of joyful, carefree moments, full of shared jokes and deep conversations. But just as things were getting exciting, COVID-19 hit, and the world changed overnight. The stay-at-home order kept them apart for two weeks, but after a brief quarantine, they found themselves spending a lot of time together, navigating the new normal. Those early days of lockdown became a unique chapter in their love story. Katie unfortunately couldn’t work due to Covid guidelines and Mike’s work had never been busier. So Katie decided to pick up Mike’s favorite hobby of video games, and dove in head first. It was the fast track to Mike’s heart, and it was during this time that they knew they had found something truly special. One memorable highlight of the pandemic was their first Thanksgiving together. Determined to make the holiday special despite the circumstances, they prepared an entire Thanksgiving dinner for just the two of them. It was during this intimate celebration that they realized they couldn’t imagine their future without one another. Now, as they prepare to start the next chapter of their lives together, Katie and Mike are excited to celebrate their journey and the love that began with laughter, deepened through challenges, and solidified with the joy of new shared interests, memories and a unified vision of their future together.
