Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April, 5 2025. Important Note: This is the same weekend as the West Point graduation in the area which usually involves several domestic and foreign heads of state (for example Joe Biden was the commencement speaker in 2024, Kamala Harris in 2023, etc), and therefore hotels tend to fill up quickly. If you choose not to utilize our reserved hotel blocks (or if they fill up), every hotel in the area has recommended you book your accommodation as soon as you can.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the travel page for our hotel blocks!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to Sacred Heart Church between 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm. The wedding ceremony will be at 1:00 pm. Anyone who arrives at or after 1:00 pm will not be able to come in for the ceremony. We thank you for your consideration!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden party or cocktail attire! Please be advised that the venue is on a working produce farm (don't worry - no animals except for some friendly cats) and you will be walking on grass and stones to travel between buildings and the reception area so we recommend not wearing thin high heels or stilettos! We also respectfully ask that you not wear a white dress. The bride really appreciates it :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are able to accommodate those listed on the invitation and we ask that you RSVP accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Everyone who we can accommodate, including children, will be listed on your invitation. Anyone who is not listed, including children, we unfortunately cannot accommodate. We ask that you RSVP accordingly. A few things that we ask that you be mindful of should you choose to bring your children to celebrate with us: During the ceremony and other special moments (first dance, speeches, etc) we request that if your little ones need a break or are having trouble being quiet, that you please step away for a moment and bring them back when they are ready. Please do not allow children to run around the church or venue during the moments above or use iPad's or headphones. There will be no one designated to watch children during the cocktail hour and reception. We ask that you keep an eye on your kids and be mindful of the space as it is a relatively large farm. The venue reserves the right to ask parents who leave their children unattended to leave. There will be some toys and supplies provided for the children that RSVP during the cocktail hour, however please keep in mind that there will be alcohol and it is overall an adult celebration.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We ask that during the ceremony only that no one takes photos or videos.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

There sure is! (For our 21 and up guests!) The bar will be open from the cocktail hour through to the end. We do ask that those driving designate a sober driver rather than drinking and driving or take advantage of our complimentary shuttle. We also ask that the parents of teenagers supervise to ensure that they are not ordering alcohol.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking at the venue. The lot can accommodate 70 cars.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

For your convenience, safety, and enjoyment of the day there will be a shuttle from the hotels with reservation blocks to the reception at Blooming Hill Farms. At the end of the celebration there will be a return trip back to those same hotels. The shuttle will pick up at the hotel between 3 and 3:30 pm (exact timing will be forthcoming) and depart the venue exactly at 10 p.m. Hotels with blocks on shuttle route: The Orange Inn Boutique Hotel Residence Inn by Marriott - Middletown Goshen Fairfield Inn & Suites - Goshen Middletown Sleep Inn & Suites - Monroe - Woodbury La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham - Middletown Home2 Suites by Hilton - Middletown Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Chester-Monroe-Goshen The venue recommends not relying on Uber to leave the venue but that Ubers should be available easily during the day to get to the venue. We recommend that even if you are not staying at one of the hotels that you still take the shuttle to one of them at the end of the of the reception to get an Uber or taxi from Goshen instead of the venue. Listed below are the local taxi services: Geo Taxi Service (845) 213-5639 Speedy Car Service (845) 783-6651 Village Taxi (845) 783-6112

Question

Will there be an afterparty?

Answer

We plan on going out to local bars in downtown Goshen after the reception concludes. Plan on taking the shuttle going back to The Orange Inn if you'd like to join!

For all the days along the way
