We're getting Married!

We met in May of 2020 at a little pond in Elburn IL where we proceeded to catch absolutely nothing the couple of hours we were there. We then went to a custard shop and sat in a hyvee parking lot, in a grassy section and talked for hours till the sun started to go down. I guess we both couldnt shake the feeling of there being a spark so we planned to meet at the same pond the next day. Despite once again not catching anything we found ourselves sitting on a picnic table laughing and talking and just getting to know each other. We found ourselves sitting there just completely falling for each other. We moved relatively fast in our relationship but we think it has made us stronger in the long run. We went on a family vacation to MN in June (where we would later get engaged) we got our first apartment in January 2021. We got Zuma our pup in February and suddenly we turned into a little family. We both worked, paid bills and saved. We made mistakes and learned and grew as a team. We went on other vacations like to Pennsylvania, Indiana, Wisconsin, Texas and even the Eastern Caribbean. We got engaged, got a second dog (Benny) struggled some more but here we are over 4 years later promising forever to each other still completely and utterly as much in love as we were sitting at that picnic table laughing about how we didnt catch any fish 2 days in a row and going on spontaneous dates, making big life decisions and even carving our initials in a picnic table ready to take on this next chapter in this book of life we are creating. We could not be more grateful for all of our family and friends who have been there every step of the way of this incredible journey. Here we are September 21 2024 promising forever and loving every moment of it.
