The North Grove Trail gives you a little of everything in a short 1.5 mile loop, including the huge stump pictured above once used for dancing!

Calaveras Big Trees State Park

Good for mountain biking and hiking, this trail can take you to the overlook of San Antonio Falls and/or the top of the falls which we highly recommend!

Arnold Rim Trail Head

This smaller lake is close to the venue and has a beach to relax on along with a trail that can take you around the lake. Good for swimming, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding!

White Pines Lake

Lake Alpine has many islands which are fun to swim or kayak to, with many spots to set up chairs or hammocks along the banks. They also have paved walking trails by the lake.

Although higher up the mountain, Bear Valley is home to hiking and many winter sports when the weather is right!

Murphys has it all - the annual Grape Stomp is happening this same weekend! There’s a beautiful park and river, along with many cute shops and yummy restaurants.

Moaning Caverns Adventure Park

This 2 mile out and back trail brings you to a beautiful cave with a river flowing through it! Although the water is often freezing, it’s worth it to swim through to the other side! Watch out for poison oak!
