Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We would love to have as many guests as possible; however, we do not have that luxury at the moment. Therefore, we will only be able to accommodate those on your invitation.
Please read through the FAQs and check the other tabs, as there is a lot of information laid out. If you do not find your answer please text or call us (Kyle (518)810-1819 or Danielle (518)626-1869) and we'll happily provide an answer.
We are not having a bridal shower, as we want to reduce the amount of travel for our out-of-town friends and family members - and 2021 is quite full of events! Most gifts on our registry are gift cards or cash funds; however, gifts can be brought to the venue on our wedding day or sent to our house, if you would prefer.
As of right now, no masks are required. That being said, our venue will adhere to the current CDC and NYS guidelines on wearing masks. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please do so!
Nope! Our venue abides by New York State's COVID regulations in which there is no requirement to show proof of negative COVID test or vaccine.
You will be missed! We understand that many people may not make it due to the holiday season, or for their own preferences regarding current health risks. You can RSVP 'No', here on our website, or reach out to either of us personally. Either way, please let us know at your earliest convenience!
Yes!! As of May 3, dancing restrictions were lifted. Let's get WILD!!
Please RSVP at your earliest convenience, and no later than November 1st, 2021. You can do that here on our website under the RSVP tab, or by reaching out to us. Phone numbers and emails are at the top of the screen!
Health and safety is everyone's top concern. The Fairways of Halfmoon will be: -Eight people per table to enable enough distance between each seat. -Only five people allowed at the bar at one time, in order to prevent crowding. -Each serving station for the buffet will have one person serving, to minimize how many hands touch the utensils
We are registered here, on Zola. You can find it under the Registry tab or visit www.zola.com/registry/waldronwedding .
The weather will be quite cold outside; typically a high of 30-40 degrees and a low of 15-25 degrees. There may or may not be snow and/or ice on the ground so please be careful driving and walking.
We want you to be comfortable but also glamorous! The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or sports coat.
We are flattered that you would like to; however, some centerpiece items are not ours to give away. We ask that you please do not take any part of the centerpieces home with you.
We want you to enjoy yourselves as much as possible, so this will be an adult-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so we can properly celebrate!
Albany International Airport (ALB) is the closest airport to fly into. Flights are said to be cheaper around the first week of September; however, if you know you will be attending, I suggest booking your flight as early as possible. We purposely set our wedding so close to a holiday to reduce the amount of travel our friends and family will have to make. We will also have rooms blocked for out of town travelers.
You can drive, carpool or take an Uber/Lyft. The venue is 9 minutes from many hotels including our hotel block and has adequate parking spaces. You may leave your vehicle overnight if you'd like to drive there and Uber back. If you plan on drinking, please ensure you have a designated driver or plan to get home safely!
Both the Ceremony and Reception will be indoors, in the Banquet House side of the Fairways of Halfmoon.
Parking is free, and there is a large lot as soon as you pull into the venue. You may leave your cars overnight; however, depending on the weather there could be golfers the next day. It's best to park away from the driving range area!
You can find the schedule of events under the Schedule tab.
After the ceremony, guests will move to the Clubhouse where hot and cold hors d'oeuvre as well beer, wine and soda will be served for the Cocktail hour. Guests will then move back to the Banquet House for Reception where dinner will be served as buffet style. Gluten Free and vegetarian options will be available, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink choices.
