Taylor and Ethan met at Grace Christian University in 2015. They started becoming closer friends in 2017 and developed feelings for one another. Their first date was going to Beauty and the Beast and then went to the Formal Dinner at Mckay Towers together. After a summer of intentionally getting to know one another, Taylor and Ethan officially started dating on August 30th, 2017!

On Taylor's birthday, Ethan took Taylor out to lunch in Cambridge, ON, Canada. While they were eating lunch next to the Grand River, Ethan gave Taylor her birthday present. In the gift bag was a photo album of their relationship from the start to the point they are currently. Taylor just thought he was making a sweet gesture and was completely clueless that the proposal was about to happen. The next gift Taylor pulled out was the ring box. Taylor was stunned!! Ethan kneeled in front of her and asked, "Taylor Anne Wahl, will you marry me?" Taylor in excitement and disbelief said, "YES!" We would like to think it is one of Taylor's best birthdays!
