Greg Cheatham is Matt’s younger brother. They grew up in Aurora, IL spending most of their time playing video games, building Legos, running around in the yard, or watching 90's TV. Matt always treated Greg with the utmost kindness when they were growing up; a fact which no one could, or would want to, dispute.

Kim has known Trang since they were 12 years old. She's the one Kim goes to when Kim doesn't know what to do because Trang will tell it straight. Trang's a gangster like that!

Andrew Johnson (ATJ) and Matt were fraternity brothers in KDR at U of I. They also lived together in Chicago after school. ATJ and Matt spent most of their time being late to the golf course, where they would both shoot about the same (+/- 30 strokes).

Kim met Jessica at a pre-MBA mixer and they have since become Fuqua Section 2 mates, China Gate travelmates, Deloitte project buddies, and budding lifetime friends.

Matt and Bob met in grade school at Freeman, but hit it off as fraternity brothers in KDR at U of I. Bob is Matt's go-to guy for international same-day road trips, or for pickup basketball / football. Matt has never beaten Bob at 1-on-1, but he can dust Bob in knowledge of state capitals.

Who knew that a friendship would spark in a college cafeteria over whether or not they would try dog?! Fifteen years later, Ling and Kim are still going strong! #VuTaingClan

Matt and Dustin met as fraternity brothers in KDR at U of I as freshmen (note: Dustin may not have been a freshman), and became fast friends on their spring break 2K3 road trip to Panama City. Dustin and Matt are best known for their creative, and not at all stupid, business ideas.
