The Start of Forever

We were very blessed to have mutual friends that knew we would be great together! We started talking at a gender reveal party & ended up catching a concert with friends at a local bar that night. Kyle swept me off my feet by carrying my shoes (and me at some point!) around. The following months were filled with late night dinner dates and using every spare minute we had to get to know each other.

During the month of July, Emily spent every weekend in Ocean Isle with her friends. On the last week of summer, her best friend took her out for coffee and a morning walk on the beach. After a few moments of walking in the sand Emily noticed Kyle standing by the waves. The proposal was imperfectly perfect in every way just like the two of us are! Kyle got down on one knee, and in perfect Kyle fashion the box was backward and wouldn't open, but as soon as it did- in perfect Emily impatience style- she grabbed the ring without waiting for him to ask. There couldn't have ever been a better way to end the summer.

We are so excited to start our life together. We feel so blessed to have been surrounded by incredible people we get to call our friends and family. FIRST COMES THE MARRIAGE Our dream is to have a small unity ceremony on the beach in Ocean Isle. We would like to invite our immediate family and the closest friends that put us together & helped us grow every step of the way to witness this intimate moment. THEN COMES THE PARTY! We are so excited to celebrate this HUGE milestone and will be having a reception in Wilmington after our ceremony. We would love to have all of our friends and families come together and enjoy a night of community and fellowship to mark the start of this journey.
