What Date Should I RSVP By?

May 15, 2024 If you don't RSVP, please bring your own chair and a sandwich

Can I RSVP online or do I have to walk to the mailbox?

Answer

We would love you to send in the RSVP card that accompanied your invitation. We really want to know what song is going to keep you on the dance floor. But you can also RSVP on this website as well.

Is there parking near the Sanctuary on Penn?

Answer

YES! There is a parking lot across the street from the Sanctuary for you parking needs. You can access by turning left from Pennsylvania and then right in to the parking lot.

Is the Sancturary on Penn Handicap Accessible?

Answer

There is a wheelchair ramp at the back of the venue, where those in a wheelchair or have a walker or cannot navigate the stairs at the front may enter. There is one bathroom on the main floor to accommodate those who cannot navigate stairs.

Rain or Shine

Answer

This is an indoor event! There are areas to mingle outside, if desired. A fire pit, and a small lawn. We will have some lawn games set up should you feel the need of some air. And we will be out mingling as well. Weather permitting, of course.

What is Indianapolis weather like in June?

Answer

As always, it is hard to predict the weather. The average temperatures in June are 81 at the highest and 61 at the lowest.

What to wear, what to wear

Answer

What does black tie optional mean? A black-tie optional dress code gives you a couple of formal options to choose from. Men are requested to wear a tux, but can opt for a dark suit. Women can choose either a formal evening gown, a shorter cocktail dress or dressy separates. No jeans, t-shirts or nude please.

What Time should I arrive?

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30 - 45 minutes before the ceremony to make sure that everyone is seated on time.

What happens after the Ceremony?

Answer

Cocktail hour! We will be having a cocktail hour while the wedding party wraps up any last minute portraits. Please have one of our signature cocktails, and tasty snacks. Then we will move in to the reception and the party will begin!

Will Dinner Be Served at the Reception?

Answer

There will be a sit-down, plated dinner following the cocktail hour.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Where do we stay if coming from out of town?

Answer

Please visit the travel page! We have listed a few hotel options to help you out. Of course, you can also get an Air B&B or Vrbo if that's more your thing!

Do to the space limitations of our venue we are only allowed to invite a select few. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.

We have waited so long for this moment. We invite you to be truly present with us at this time. We ask that you silence and pocket cell phones and turn off cameras. We have hired a photographer who we trust to capture the moment. We want you to capture how it feels in your hearts - without the distractions of technology.

Can I post photos on socail media?

Answer

Please please please take tons of pictures after the ceremony! But, we would prefer them kept under wraps until we have shared that special first picture ourselves.

The 2024 U.S. Swimming Olympic time trials will be taking place at Lucas Oil Stadium. While it's on the opposite side of the Downtown area, please be advised that this could influence hotel bookings, travel, and restaurants in the area.
