This vegan bar has delicious treats, drinks and free karaoke each night. The colorful decor is often complimented by DJs blasting fun beats. 21+
Coava Coffee Roasters
Our favorite coffee spot in Portland- Coava boasts three different cafes around Portland. Stop in for some pour over and the best specialty coffee you’ll ever consume. Our personal favorite: their honey tea lattes (made with Bee-local honey water). Stop in at the roastery over the weekend for free coffee tastings! Kid friendly.
CRUZROOM
Our favorite neighborhood food spot- this funky taco place includes fusion tacos from all sorts of cultures, tots and their own distillery. Kid friendly.
Doug Fir Lounge
Connected to the Jupiter Hotel, this classic spot serves up dinner, brunch and live jams nightly. 21+
Dots Cafe
A yummy breakfast/brunch spots with all of your cravings. Brunch goes till 2:30PM and they’ve got $10 bottomless mimosas! The vibe is retro with funky paintings and velvet walls. Kid friendly.
Either/Or
One of our favorite spots for chai tea flights, coffee flights, soda flights and cocktails. Delicious fare with both vegetarian, vegan and meat options. Perfect brunch and late night food menu. Kid friendly!

Trying to put on your dancing shoes before the reception? Look no further. Good Foot hosts soul, funk and jazz music with the perfect crowd for grooving on the dance floor- often to live bands and diverse to all ages. 21+

One of our absolute favorite breweries with creative craft beer concoctions such as mochi beer and a beer that tastes just like a blueberry muffin. Kid friendly!

Another perfect rainy day spot. With hundreds of arcade games and more- this barcade has everything you crave. Kid friendly before 6pm.
Hey Love
This gorgeous bar is located right below the Jupiter NEXT hotel and has delicious food and creative cocktails amongst a nature aesthetic.
Hollywood Theatre
You need to try a Portland theater! And this older theater is splendid. Craft beer, local pizza and gorgeous balcony seating. See an old film or a new one! They play classics constantly. Kid friendly before 7pm.
McMenamins Kennedy School Hotel
What used to be an elementary school in the early 20th century was remodeled (though kept eerily the same)- into several bars, restaurants, soaking pools, a theater and hotel. A must visit! Kid friendly.
Keys Lounge
Our neighborhood bar was once a key shop but reconstructed into a cozy bar decorated with several of its old elements. Most nights there’s DJ’s spinning old records.
Leaky Roof Gastro Pub
A great brunch spot where there’s never a line. This cabin like spot has delicious Irish inspired brunch food and is tucked away in SW Portland. Kid friendly!
Lulu
This trendy bar in the heart of busy SE Portland is great for it’s Taco Bell inspired menu and delightful cocktails! Say hi to the owner Vijay for us!
No Bones Beach Club
Our favorite vegan restaurant in a tiki bar atmosphere with pina coladas, creative bites and even a cocktail with Drake’s photograph attached. Kid friendly!
OMSI
The Oregon science museum is a large spot with tons to do for the whole family. Interactive exhibits, movie showings, submarines and more make this spot on the waterfront a must. Kid friendly.
Palomar
The Cuban food and display of many rums, daiquiri, and pina colada’s is all I need to address. Kid friendly!
Pioneer Courthouse Square
A great spot for last minute shopping- located downtown is this half indoor/half outdoor mall filled with all the shops you need. Parking is located below the mall. Kid friendly.
Pip's Original Doughnuts & Chai
Every Portlander knows that Voodoo Doughnuts is just a tourist trap. For the ultimate doughnut deliciousness- visit Pips! A must have treat at a delightful doughnut cafe with house made chai!
Pittock Mansion
Want a quick view of the city but don’t want to leave the car for very long in the dead of winter? Drive up to Pittock mansion where there’s free parking- walk behind the mansion and look out at the magical view of the city.
Portland City Grill
One of the best happy hours in Portland! 3-6PM and all day Sunday is host to wrap around views of Portland on the 33rd floor- enjoy music from the piano man and sit by the glass windows that encase this bar. 21+

A Roadside Attraction
Our favorite dive bar is a sight to be seen! Like a gothic china restaurant, this place is cash only and super cheap. Play free pool, pick tunes from the free juke box, sit in velvet chairs or soak up the artificial heat in the heated patio with swing chairs. 21+
Salt & Straw
Classic flavors and seasonal- salt and straws are located all over Portland and January is vegan month. Enjoy a plethora of creative vegan ice creams. Pro tip: wanna skip a line? - buy a pint of ice cream in their freezer and head straight to the register. Kid friendly!

Located in the industrial side of Portland- this sweet spot has a variety of tasty craft beers, board games and ciders!
Skyline Restaurant
Tucked away in the deep forest is this fifties style dinner with the best burgers, milkshakes and pie at cheap prices. Kid friendly!
