The Rambla of Montevideo (think Embarcadero in San Francisco) is pretty unique in that it extends for over 20km. You can enjoy the views by driving, walking or biking. For all of you staying at the Sofitel, you will find the Rambla across from the hotel.
Punta del Este

Punta Del Este is by far Uruguay's most famous resort. The seaside resort peaks in late December and early January. For those of you that have an extra day or two try to visit and enjoy its natural beauty.
