Where is it? What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at 4:15pm on 09/08/2023 at The White Dove Barn. Traffic is horrendous on Medical Center Parkway between 3p-6p. So please plan around that, so you are not late!!

Is the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! It’s only a short walk from the ceremony location to the reception hall. There will be golf carts available for shuttling if handicapped.

Is it an indoor or outdoor wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors under a covered pavilion. Then the reception will be indoors. Tennessee weather is tricky so just watch your weather app closely!

AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! But, last possible time to rsvp would be last week of July.

Virtually through this website. There should be a whole drop down tab that will take you to the reservation page.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend to stay?

We do not have a block anywhere, but the best options for hotels are located on Medical Center Parkway (which is only 20 minutes away from the venue). - Embassy Suites by Hilton - Courtyard by Marriott - Hilton Garden Inn - Residence Inn by Marriott - Hyatt Place - Staybridge Suites

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through AMAZON and WALMART, if you click on the registry drop down on THIS website there will be a link to our registries. There is also a honey moon fund that is connected to the website, you just input your card information to donate.

Yes! And there will be a golf cart available for shuttling from ceremony to reception as well.

What’s for dinner?

Emily wanted to bring a little bit of Texas to Tennessee, so we are having Chuy's cater the wedding! There will be a chips and salsa cocktail hour (along with margaritas :)) stocked with queso, pico de gallo, guacamole, and creamy jalapeño ranch. The main entrees consist of your choice of either beef or chicken fajitas, with rice and refried beans.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, we have some pretty incredible bartenders here to serve you your choice of beer, wine, or margaritas. So please DO NOT bring your own drinks.

• 47 minutes from the venue to Nashville • 25 minutes away from medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro.

What's the attire/ dress code?

Answer

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and a cowboy hat if that’s your thing.

What is your color palette/ What do I wear?

If you have the option to wear bright warm colors, or greens, PLEASE WEAR THEM!! Examples: Red/ Pink/ Orange/ Yellow/ Green/ Blush/ Peach/ Coral/ Magenta/ Gold/ Sage/ Forrest Green/ Pine/ Emerald/ Olive The Venue is very white, so a bold color choice is going to look amazing on all of you guys and even better in photos!!

What SHOES should I wear?

Answer

Whatever you can dance well in, that are also comfortable! Boots and sandals are 100% acceptable as well as a change of shoes for later in the evening to avoid blisters. Ladies: you shouldn’t have to worry about your heels in grass, because everything is paved.

Can I bring a date?

Please honor the invitation guest number we sent you through the mail. We have planned and paid for a certain number of people, and we don’t want anyone at the wedding without food or a table and chair to sit with!!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Please do not use your cellular device or cameras during the ceremony portion of the wedding. We want everyone to be fully present and able to enjoy this special once in a lifetime moment with us. :)

Can I smoke?

Answer

Yes! We will even have a designated area with cigars and cornhole provided. But all smoke must stay outdoors in this designated area.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking in the newly paved parking lot. But if you plan on drinking during the reception, I highly suggest using an Uber or Lyft. It is only a 20 minute drive from Medical Center Parkway to the venue.
