Daniella & Vincent met at Chipotle Mexican Grill in 2015, where they both were mastering the art of rolling burritos. One day while on break, Daniella sat in a booth while eating a burrito. Mid-bite, Vincent walks into Chipotle & pulls up a chair. This was confusing to Daniella, as they’d not really spoken to one another before. This was a memorable moment for Daniella because she thought this was a very weird thing to do. One night after Daniella got off of work, she went over to Starbucks just a few stores down & was ready to head home. As she was getting ready to drive off, she saw Vincent walking into Starbucks with a book. She wasn’t sure if this was 100% him, so she pulled out a photo of Chipotle’s employee contact list, took down Vincent’s phone number, & texted him. “Are you at Starbucks right now?” “Yes. Who is this?” Daniella trotted back inside of Starbucks & pulled up a chair at Vincent’s table- the same way he had done to her at Chipotle. This would be Daniella & Vincent’s first time getting to know one another. They sat & chatted for hours, effortlessly. Before Daniella & Vincent began their journey together, they were best friends. Daniella & Vincent went through many ups & downs before finally making it official in December of 2016. In September of 2022, Daniella purchased tickets to a Mets game for Vincent, her mom, & her dad. These tickets were a surprise for her dad (& a little gift to herself as well) as they were in row 4 of Citifield behind home plate. They were extremely close! When you sit at these seats you are seen on TV & you get access to a clubhouse with free food & drinks! Daniella was extremely excited for this. After the amazing surprise took place & Daniella & her family were all settled in their wide leather seats, they enjoyed the game for about one inning. After one inning, an employee at Citifield came up to Daniella & Vincent & said they were randomly selected to play a between-the-innings game on the big screen! Daniella was extremely confused but excited- whereas Vincent appeared nervous. Daniella was too excited to worry about Vincent’s nerves & was practically jumping for joy as if she’d waited her whole life for this moment. When the pair arrived at the filming spot in the stadium, the employee said she really liked the couple & their energy, & wanted to ensure they win this game! Daniella was even more pumped. The game was “How well do you know your Travel Partner?” The interviewer & the couple reviewed the 3 questions & answers for the game before going on the big screen. Question 1- correct. Question 2- correct. Question 3- correct! At this point, the interviewer asking the questions says there is a bonus question. Daniella panics because they did not rehearse for a bonus question! At this moment, the interviewer steps aside & says “I’m not the one asking it. Vincent, take it away!” Vincent drops down on one knee in front of Daniella (& 40,000 Mets fans) to ask her to marry him. Daniella quickly says yes & throws off a ring that was already on her finger to make room for her dream ring. Daniella & Vincent have goals to celebrate their love with their closest family & friends in an intimate setting & move to their dream city of NYC.
