No better place to meet than at New Hope Chapel of Plymouth! Aileen had been attending NH for a few years, and involved in their young adult ministry called The Gathering. Not long after Vince graduated from MMA, he got baptized and was regularly attending NH as well. Through mutual friends, Vince and Aileen formed a Christ-centered friendship, but Vince had always wanted to be more than friends. She agreed to a date in the new year (2023) and soon realized he was the man she had been praying for her whole life. Vince and Aileen now lead the Outreach team for The Gathering together with a mission of being the hands and feet of Jesus.

We were invited to camp on Assateague Island with Aileen's cousin and her fiancé over labor day weekend. This had always been on Aileen's bucket list. This small barrier island in Maryland is open to campers right on the beach with beautiful views and best of all, the wild Chincoteague ponies are seen roaming throughout the island. We had taken a walk to watch the sunset on the bay side, and as Aileen was taking photos, Vincent got down on one knee behind her. "A million times YES"! Riley and Hunter, we want to thank you for inviting us to this beautiful spot that is now such a special place in our hearts. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you all. See you in the barn at Chamberlain!
