We met in May 2020, yup that's right we met during the year most of us would like to forget. But not us. We both picked up a trip that happened to have a long layover (almost 48 hrs) in Las Vegas, NV. This was totally a trip that during non pandemic times we would of never been able to get, but because of the state of the airline industry we were able to! I (Tasha) can still remember the first thing Vince said to me, "Oh hey, you're in the back of the bus (we were flying on an Airbus) with me!" lol. It was then I knew that the next 4 days were going to be fun! We spent the next 8 hours (day 1) getting to know one another and hitting things off. Then when we got to Las Vegas we decided since everything was mostly still closed we would all hang out as a crew (there were 2 other crewmembers with us) We got our now "signature" drink of White Claws and hung out! The next day Vince went and rented a car, and we picked up Vince's first meal from In 'n Out! We spent the rest of our time in Las Vegas trying to go to whatever we could that was open (which wasn't much lol) We spent the other 2 days of the trip talking and realizing that this was something special and that we wanted to see where it would go. The only downside was both of us were off of work the next month, and with Vince living in Buffalo and Tasha in Albuquerque, it made it a little harder than a "normal" relationship. But we were both willing to put in the time and effort to make sure we saw one another. The next few weeks we spoke everyday and realized more and more that this was the "real deal" for both of us. We went back to work in July and was spending every chance we could with one another. It was a trip Vince got to Nantucket (again a trip that normally we wouldn't get) that we both realized we were head over heals in love and wanted to spend forever with one another.
