Dublin is the town Thomas lived in for 7 years before moving to Boston and in many ways the place he calls home. It is an incredible city with a history that dates back to the 1100's. We highly recommend spending a few days touring around the city and the county of Dublin. The Powerscourt gardens in the south all the way to the cliffs of Howth and everything between provide such an incredible backdrop for the wedding. We'll add to this section in the build up to the wedding but put a starter for tourist spots that are well worth the visit and great spots to see. It is a truly wonderful city of the world and not to be discounted.
Lahinch is a sleepy Irish golf and surf town where Thomas says is his favorite place on earth. The golf course is sublime, the town is incredible, and the Cliffs of Moher are a five minute drive up the road. It is an amazing place and we would recommend it as you tour the country.
Kinsale is an incredible town in Cork that looks like a story book built in a fantasy land as much as it does the real world. It is a great town for kids and to bop about with the coast right there and plenty of lovely hikes for a day trip.
Dingle is an amazing part of the world in "the Kingdom" of Kerry. It is an awesome part of the world where it looks so fantastic and other worldly that this is the site that may a movie representing the extra terrestrial were shot - including Star Wars! It is a magical place and well worth checking out if you're planning a trip around the country
Take the green dart down .. highly recommend using google maps for your travel needs. It’ll give you all options. I recommend starting in Bray and walking to Greystones for a lovely payoff along the way and in the lovely town of Greystones
Ireland’s best swimming spot (arguably)
Vermeer and so much more around the corner from the hotel .. see Victoria in the picture
