In 2014, Frank and Victoria met while living in the same dorm at Ohio State. Our friendship blossomed spring semester, when we unknowingly signed up for the same English class. We bonded over buckeye football and being far from home for the first time. When sophomore year rolled around, something had changed. Frank fell for Victoria’s love of sports, while Victoria was smitten by Frank’s quirky sense of humor. Our first date was January 2016, and we set out for a night downtown. Both hesitant to pick the wrong place, we walked around Columbus for over 2 hours before picking grilled cheese joint, Melt. Little did we know, we both don’t love grilled cheese. Frank and Victoria graduated from OSU Spring 2018. Both ready to take on the world, Frank moved to Denver for a job with Lockheed Martin. Victoria moved back home to Illinois and started working in healthcare. Long distance was difficult, but we made it work. Facetime dates and trips to visit when possible became our normal. We made great memories learning to snowboard together and taking trips down to South Carolina to enjoy the beach and Frank’s hometown. Fast forward to 2020, Frank made the big decision to move to Chicago. After 2 years of long distance, Victoria could not be happier. Now we get to enjoy Chicago together! Victoria gets to try and convince Frank to love deep-dish pizza and Chicago sports. We soon found our favorite spot out on Lake Shore Drive trail, where we picnic and enjoy the sunset. This special place became the spot where Frank asked Victoria to get married on Aug 21, 2020. Now, after 5 years together, we can’t wait to tie the knot and start our happily ever after!
