Derek and Victoria met at Mountain Mist Day Camp in Meriden, CT. Believe it or not, it was not love at first sight! The couple knew of each other and worked together at camp but it wasn't until the summer of 2018 that they became closer and started to hang out with groups of friends together. In February of 2019, Derek asked Vicki to tag along for a Super Bowl Parade over in Boston, Massachusetts to celebrate the New England Patriot's victory over the Los Angeles Rams and the rest was history! Derek and Vicki started dating on March 9th, 2019 and have been inseparable ever since. They moved in together in April of 2022 and Derek proposed on July 21, 2023.

Derek and Vicki have been travel bugs since the very beginning! Their first trip together was to Washington, D.C. and Atlantic City. Museum tours, the Zoo and a fun time on the Atlantic City Boardwalk sealed the deal! Since then, Derek and Vicki have been all over New England, Las Vegas, Arizona, Florida, Oregon, Pennsylvania and much more! Although their honeymoon plans are not set yet, an International trip is on the horizon!
