This cottage is cohosted by one of my fellow Red Cross colleagues, JoAnne, and her daughter. It is located in Schenectady. It has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. It can host up to 5 guests. 33 minute drive to the church. 39 minute drive from the reception.

Camping - Schodack Island State Park

As the name suggests, it's an island on the Hudson River with beautiful river views. Approximately 25 minute drive from the reception (it's looks closer on the map, but the roads loop around).

Thacher State Park is reknowned as one of the most beautiful state parks in the Capital Region, with incredible cliffside views of the surrounding landscape via the Helderberg Escarpment and a unique hike through the gorge and waterfall below. Approximately 30 minute drive from the reception venue.
