South Congress Avenue
South Congress has a huge variety of boutiques and restaurants worth checking out! Whether you're in the mood for window shopping and want to look at shops like Service Menswear, Cove, Stag Provisions, Maya Star, leather boots from Allen's Boots, or Tesoros Trading Co; it's well worth the trip. If all that shopping and wandering works up an appetite, there are lots of food trucks and restaurants (like a local favorite, Gueros).
Rainey Street Historic District
Rainey Street is a great place to enjoy an afternoon or evening drink when the weather's nice. Many of its watering holes are constructed inside historic bungalows, like Javelina, where you can enjoy a nice cocktail and outdoor seating. The Container Bar is a unique spot that's built out entirely out of shipping containers!
Townlake
Whether hiking or biking the trails, doing stand-up paddleboard yoga, or taking a river cruise, you’ll find no shortage of outdoor fun to be had in the heart of beautiful downtown Austin.

You can't visit Texas without trying two things: BBQ and Tex-Mex! Matt's El Rancho is an Austin staple -- be sure to order their famous Bob Armstrong queso!
