Both having attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School (Great day to be an Eagle), we passed in hallways for three years. It wouldn't be until 6 years later and a boozy day at a Nats baseball game that would lead to me (Delaney) sliding into Morgan’s direct message inbox after I began noticing his serial liking of my posted pictures on instagram. Me living in D.C., him just finishing pilot training and heading to New Mexico, limited us to a back and forth that went on for months until it was decided we should try and reconnect. Crashing a weekend football game at the Air Force Academy vs Navy (Go Falcons) with all his boys at their alma mater in Colorado seemed like the right idea. So we each traveled hundreds of miles for our first date, and Morgan welcomed me to thin air. That weekend quickly led to a connection that needed to be kept, and most importantly, an Air Force victory. We each went home, time zones away, and started to navigate a long distance realtionship. With our second, third, and fourth date being each a month apart, it became aparent that, though unconventional, it seemed all too right. So that's how it continued for 2 and half years... Until I could switch from Active Duty to the Army Reserves and move to Missouri where Morgan was stationed at the time. That didn't last long before the Air Force had plans for us to continue on in Nebraska, where we call home now. The very home that Morgan got down on a knee on our front porch after finding out the Army planned to deploy me to help out with the Covid-19 pandemic. There's never been a dull moment or a predictable one, but instead moments always full of laughs, love, and support from each other as well as all of you reading this. That is why we want to invite you all to be a part of the next chapter, and help us continue this story. After a lot of time apart and missed memories, we cannot wait to create a lifelong memory with you partying the night away and celebrating the future we dreamed of!
