Farmers Market

The downtown Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8am to 2pm and features local produce, coffee, art, and more.
Distillery District

This once abandoned spot is now a lively conglomerate of bars, restaurants, music venues, and two working bourbon distilleries.
The Henry Clay Estate
120 Sycamore Road, Lexington, KY 40502
You can schedule a historical tour of the former Secretary of State's home or simply walk around the grounds. For more parks, visit the Arboretum*, Gratz Park, or Woodland Park.
Keeneland*
4201 Versailles Road, Lexington, KY 40510
Keeneland hosts world-class horse racing twice annually during the spring and fall. You can learn about Lexington's horse-racing history by touring here or at one of the many nearby horse farms.
The Bourbon Trail*

The Bourbon Trail is a stretch of 37 bourbon distilleries located throughout Kentucky. Visit their website to find distilleries in or near Lexington, including Woodford Reserve and Castle & Key.
Red River Gorge*

If you're in Lexington for longer than a weekend, Red River Gorge is a beautiful spot for hiking and climbing and is just an hour outside of the city.
Martine's Pastries

Martine's is a French-owned bakery and café. North Lime Donuts, Spalding's Bakery, and Greater's Ice Cream are other places to feed your sweet tooth.

A delicious breakfast spot with lots of yummy vegetarian items. We also love Minton's (our reception caterer!) and Great Bagel for breakfast.
Kentucky Native Café

KY Native Café is as beautiful as it is delicious and boasts a wide selection of vegetarian options. For other veggie-friendly restaurants, we recommend Stella's or Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen.
Wallace Station Deli and Bakery*

Chef Ouita Michel owns several restaurants in Lexington. Our favorite of her's is Wallace Station, which is great for lunch or dinner. Enjoy the scenic views of horse farms along the way!
Joe Bologna's Pizzeria

This pizza spot is a Lexington staple. Make sure to also order a breadstick! Pearl's, Goodfella's, and PieTana* are other fantastic pizza spots.
Third Street Stuff Coffee

A quirky little coffee shop right down the street from where we went to college! Other coffee favorites include Old School Coffee and Kenwick Table.
West Sixth Brewing

Our favorite brewery and the location of our welcome drinks! We also love Blue Stallion, Mirror Twin, Wise Bird Cider, Pivot Brewing, and West Sixth Farm*.
Trifecta Glass Art Lounge

A glass blowing studio by day and a speakeasy by night! Our other favorite bars include Ona, Belle's Cocktail House, McCarthy's Irish Pub, Lost Palm, The Grove, and Charlie Brown's.
