Question

What should I wear?

Answer

This is going to be a semi-formal event. Men are more than welcome to wear a button down shirt with slacks, a suit is not required. Women can wear either a cocktail dress or a floor length dress. This is going to be outside, so please dress in comfortable shoes!

Where can I stay?

Answer

We have a block of rooms with the Clarion Hotel and Convention center located in downtown Baraboo. Guest are also more the welcomed to stay on the campgrounds in a tent. They would have to provide their own tent and supplies for camping.

Where are the ceremony and reception going to take place?

Answer

Everything will be on the campgrounds. The ceremony is going to be at the chapel and the reception will be underneath the tent by the pool.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please send back your RSVP cards no later than August 1st.

Where should I park?

Answer

There will be parking upon entry into the campgrounds which will be the first right of the main road, there will be signs to guide you.

Will the bar be and open bar?

Answer

This wedding will have an open bar, but you are more than welcome to bring your own booze since it is a campground. There will be wine, vodka, and whiskey already on the tables for the entire evening.

What will be wedding look like?

Answer

This is going to be an Ukrainian wedding filled with lots of traditions. After the ceremony when the bridal party is taking pictures, there will be a Козацький Стіль. This is the place to stop first to start cocktail hour. During cocktail hour the bar will be open with lots of small appetizers. The reception is going to have a receiving line so that everyone can say hello to the bride and groom. There will be traditional dances like hopak and the one with the veil.

Can I take pictures / post pictures?

Answer

You are more than welcome to take and post pictures through out the entire wedding, we just ask that during the ceremony you keep your phones away and please do not get in the way of the professional photographers/videographers.
