TRAVEL

The Wedding Website of Kyla Marie Vergara and Carlos Alberto Ramos-Sonera
Looking forward to our loved ones joining us in celebration of this highly anticipated weekend! Below you will find beneficial information to help plan your trip. Hotel Guajataca will be the location for both our wedding ceremony and reception. Unfortunately this hotel has already been sold out of available rooms since December. Below you will see alternative options, if you still plan on joining us Easter weekend in April and haven't booked any lodging. Please note that there are no true "all-inclusive" or "resort" options on this island.

Hotel

Hotel Guajataca

PR-2, #6301
Quebradillas 00678, Puerto Rico

This will be the location for our wedding ceremony and reception. Ceremony start time is strictly 5:00 PM! Guests could begin to show up and settle in as early as 4:45 PM. Make your way down to the wooden pergola at the bottom of the hill behind the hotel. Our wedding dress code is semi-formal. It will be hot, but dress to impress. :) No shorts, no shoes, no ceremony!

Flight

San Juan / Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU)

Luis Munoz Marin International Airport or San Juan International Airport (SJU) is located on the northeast side of the island, and Rafael Hernandez Airport (BQN) is located on the northwest coast of the island. San Juan is on the east side of PR, so it would be more than a 2 hour drive to our venue from San Juan airport. Plan accordingly if you travel that day, especially with it being Easter weekend, give ample travel time for the drive.

Flight

Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN)

Carlos and I will be on the island from Tuesday, April 15th to Sunday, April 28th. Flying from Newark to BQN and back. We always fly in at BQN, but those flights tend to depart at night/arrive early AM so be mindful when planning your flight, to your rental car reservation time, to your lodging check in time. From BQN it's already on the west side, so it's a half hour drive to our venue.

House Or Rental

AirBnB & Vrbo

There are rental homes available all around the island. For larger groups of friends and families, I highly suggest researching nearby AirBnB or Vrbo rental homes for the ultimate PR experience. Carlos and I will be staying at a villa in Cacao with a couple of friends, the week after the wedding.

Rental Car

Enterprise, Alamo, National, Sixt

Transportation isn't as readily available as the various options we have at home. We suggest all guests rent their own car for the most freedom to get around the island. Both airports offer various rental car options within the vicinity of the airport.

Rental Car

Uber & Lyft

Ride apps are unavailable across the island. You may be able to get rides in and around the metro area of San Juan, but not around Quebradillas.

For all the days along the way
