In 2015, I was visiting a good friend, and fellow Marine, that I had served with in Afghanistan. He now lived in Chattanooga and before I got into town he kept telling me that I have to meet his girlfriends best friend. Her name was Brittany. One night, we met his girlfriend and Brittany at the ever romantic World of Beer, in downtown Chattanooga. It was one of their girlfriends birthday, so we decided to tag along. As the night progressed, I kept getting approached by people, in the restaurant, for pictures. I found out later that Brittany had leaned over to one of her friends and asked "what's up with this guy....why is everyone taking pictures with him?" Her friend responded, "GIRL.... don't you know....he has his own wikipedia page!" And Brittany's response was when I learned that she is the queen of one liners and she loves me for me. (Not impressed) She said, "well even the Soddy Daisy (her hometown) pageant queens have Wikipedia pages!" But even though I'm not a pageant queen, she gave me a chance and our friendship continued to grow, over the years, until now we can happily say that we are marrying our best friend.
