Chicago Riverwalk
We met here on our first date! An open, pedestrian waterfront lined with restaurants and attractions, the Chicago Riverwalk extends from Lake Shore Drive to Lake Street in the Loop. Often referred to as Chicago’s second waterfront after Lake Michigan, Chicago Riverwalk attractions include restaurants, boat rentals, and other family-friendly activities.
Lakefront Trail
We got engaged on this trail! An impressive 18-mile-long stretch, Chicago’s Lakefront Trail is a paved path that extends from Ardmore Street on the North Side to 71st Street on the South Side. Run, walk, bike or rollerblade with the blue waters of Lake Michigan to one side and gorgeous, green parks to the other.
Field Museum
Chicago's museums are among the best in the world, but the Field Museum is one of our favorites! The Field Museum is a revered Chicago institution and one of the world's great museums of natural history. Their immersive exhibits explore everything from ancient cultures to the latest scientific discoveries, drawing from an astounding collection of more than 24 million objects.
Lil' Ba-Ba-Reeba!
This is one of our favorite restaurant's in the city! A Spanish restaurant located in the River North area that has amazing tapas and delicious sangria.
