It all began the fall of 2016, when Michael & Taylor moved into the same apartment complex for their junior year of college. Classes hadn't started yet, but Michael's interest in Taylor sure had. Michael & Taylor spent the remaining 2 years of college becoming good friends. The night before they graduated from their senior year, Taylor & Michael realized they were no longer going to live next door to each other. Taylor cried & Michael finally made his move, kissing Taylor in the hallway of his apartment. Before they knew it, they couldn't imagine their lives without each other.

Michael told Taylor he wanted to get out & spend time together, so he made a late dinner reservation at a restaurant in the Loop. Before going to dinner, Michael suggested getting drinks at a "cool bar" his dad recommended. When the car dropped them off at Millenium Park, Taylor asked, "What's the name of the cool bar?" Michael responded, "Uh...Millenium Park Bar." (Clever!) Before going inside, Michael told Taylor to look at the view of the city. It began to snow, so Taylor asked, "Can we go inside now?" Michael responded, "Well, wait a second. I have a question for ya. Will you marry me?"
