Vandy cheer allowed us to become best friends and becoming sorority sisters was an added bonus! Favorite memory with the bride: "It's so hard to choose just one memory with Vanessa from our 12 years of friendship!! We've had so many incredible times both from our years on cheer and also in ADPi. But one of my favorite was on one of our more recent girls' trips to Salt Lake City. We went hiking and Vanessa and I were hiking with each other in the back of the group. It was so beautiful and scenic out, and she and I were just taking our time and talking about life and catching up and I remember distinctly just loving how happy we both were. I could hear the joy coming from every word she spoke about her life with Tyler, and I am so excited to celebrate them both so soon!"

We met shortly after I started dating her brother. Now, we are soon to be sister-in-laws and I'm stealing her maiden name! Favorite memory with the bride: "Ok I have 2! 1. When we were in Cedar Key and looked like eskimos trying not to freeze our asses off and you caught your first red fish, which was a tournament fish! 2. When you came to Nashville for my bachelorette, you took time out of your busy schedule and you flew back Sunday night because you had to work a 24 hour shift at the hospital. I think that trip brought us closer and it showed how great of a person you are that you came on a trip without really knowing anyone except me and did all the things when the usual person would've probably not have come if they had the type of work schedule you do"

We played football and baseball together growing up! Favorite memory with the groom: "The time I went up and saw you play football against Ohio State in Columbus. I think that moment stands out to me because of how large a role sports played in our childhood and seeing you play in the Shoe really brought it all full circle. We grew up playing NCAA football on the PlayStation more than we should've been allowed and that fact that you were out there doing it in real life was wild. Sitting first row and experiencing that with your family is something I'll never forget, even if we all want to forget the score."

Favorite memory with the groom: "We have so many good memories from trips and adventures we have been on together, but I think one of my favorite memories is just the daily routine of making it through living in the FAMU dorms together. From finessing food stamps, to loud music at 3AM, trips to the cafeteria, me bumming rides in your truck everywhere we went, to figuring out when we can fit partying in between school and football. It was one of the best parts of my life and wouldn't change anything. Thanks for always being such a good friend, roommate, and teammate."
