There is much of historical interest in Buxton due to the healing properties of its famous thermal, spa waters, known today and bottled as Buxton Water. The Natural Baths are located on the site of original Roman Baths which are themselves thought to be located on the site of an ancient shrine. Buxton is a gorgeous old British town.
