This magical story began at an apartment leasing office in Humble Texas. Vanessa had recently started a new job as a Leasing Professional and Michael was the Courtesy Officer for that community. On her first weekend at work Michael went into the office and used the excuse that he needed to text Vanessa a picture of an illegally parked vehicle. They exchanged numbers and immediately began texting each other at that moment & the rest is history!

The Proposal happened on a cold day in Loveland, Colorado on the side of a mountain outlook point. Michael grabbed the ring from his pocket that he had been hiding for the first half of their vacation, got on one knee and asked Vanessa to marry him! With approximately 20 spectators and two of their closest friends recording and taking pictures of this beautiful moment, Vanessa said YES with frozen tears rolling down her face!
