We're asking that guests please wear cocktail attire. Dress warm and to feel good! We want everyone feeling like a million bucks! The ground might be damp and/or have ankle height grass, so even something like cowboy boots or a shoe with a decent wedge/heel is recommended.
Please only bring a plus one if it says it on your invite. We promise to do our best not to leave out your favorite person!
We will only be having our niece and nephews present as they will be in our wedding. If you're able to make it, take this time to unwind, relax, and party all night without your littles!
There will be parking close to the field! Included in your invite is a detailed map that will show where to park alongside the gravel road. Once you're parked, it's just a short walk down to the field.
Besides our social media moment, which our officiant will tell you about, please do not take photos or videos during the ceremony. I have photographed so many weddings and have seen countless ceremonies ruined by cellphones and iPads. It's so sad to go back and edit photos for my clients that have been ruined by them. We would be devastated to see these in our photos after patiently waiting our turn! Once the ceremony is over, snap away! We appreciate you all for letting our photographers do their jobs. They're amazing and we promise to share photos!
Please feel free to sit on either side during the ceremony, however; please reserve the first few rows for immediate family. For the reception, you'll find a seating chart before walking in with tables and names listed.
Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outside. Cocktail hour will be adjacent to the ceremony space and then we will all transition into the tent for the remainder of the reception.
Our ceremony will be starting promptly at 4:00pm to still allow some good light for cocktail hour. It's recommended that you arrive between 3:30pm and 3:45pm to find some familiar faces and your seat. If you arrive later, our coordinator will hang back with you and then you'll be able to join during cocktail hour.
After the reception, we're planning to go up to camp to be around a bonfire. There will be a s'mores bar and more dancing. All are welcome!
