I first met Trevor when he started working at the Clubhouse. My friends mentioned a new guy starting and they thought he was my type. After initially having no interest, that quickly changed and I began looking for every excuse to invite him over or hang out. We spent our early “dates” riding dirt roads with my college roommates, picking peanuts, and bowling with our coworkers. Shortly into our relationship, I knew he was the guy I had always dreamed about. I was never one to discuss boys with my family but found myself calling my sister to say I had met a boy named Trevor and hoped it wouldn’t be an issue since that was her husband’s name. Through the pandemic lockdown, long distance, to now, loving Trevor has always been a fun adventure. I can’t wait to be his wife 🫶🏼
So I moved to Statesboro, Ga to begin my college career at Georgia Southern. I had to pick up a job so I found this local arcade place called The Clubhouse. My first few shifts were very interesting, as I was trying to find who I could hang out with. There was this one girl that was always working, doing everything, and definitely speaking her mind about what she did and did not like. This was Miss Lauren Vandiver. After a few times hanging out during work and afterwards, I just knew that Lauren was something special. And I guess you could say the rest is history.
