FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rochelle Vander Tuig and Stephen Mark
Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

This is a crucial detail to note. The ceremony is scheduled to commence at 3:30 pm, and we strongly advise aiming to arrive at the venue by 3:00 pm. Guests arriving after 3:30 pm will be kindly requested to wait until the ceremony concludes. Your presence is important to us, so we kindly ask for your punctuality. Recognizing potential traffic in Oceanside at this time, we recommend allowing ample time for your journey.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The attire is formal/cocktail. Kindly leave your jeans at home.

Question

Is it appropriate to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Please avoid taking photos or videos during the ceremony. Frequently, an outstretched hand in the aisle can disrupt the shots we've invested in our photographer to capture. Hence, this is designated as a no-phone ceremony. You are more than welcome to use your phones during the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Are dietary restrictions accommodated, and how do I communicate them?

Answer

Should you have a severe allergy, kindly contact the bride and groom, and we will gladly accommodate you. For the remaining guests, dinner will be served family-style, and all items are gluten-free. You won't even notice as this is top quality food, farm to table. Among the appetizers, some are vegetarian and gluten-free, while others contain meat and are not gluten-free. Please consult with the waiter to identify options that suit your specific needs.

Question

Are gifts appropriate, and if so, where should I send them?

Answer

Considering the logistical challenge of transporting gifts from the venue to our home, the bride and groom kindly suggest an alternative. If you wish to express your generosity, contributing to our honeymoon fund through the registry would be greatly appreciated. This way, your thoughtful gift can enhance our post-wedding celebrations.

Question

Can I share photos of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Absolutely!

Question

Is it appropriate to bring a plus one if it's not mentioned on the invitation?

Answer

On your invitation/save the date, the envelope will include your name and, if invited, your plus one. Please note that this is not an open-invite wedding, and the venue has set a strict guest count. Kindly be mindful of this. If you wish to invite someone, please reach out to the bride and groom. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

While we adore children, this is a no-child wedding. Any children present at the ceremony and reception are our niece and nephew, who play special roles in the wedding. We appreciate your cooperation.

Question

How do I RSVP, and what's the deadline?

Answer

On the flip side of your save-the-date, a website awaits your attention. If you're perusing this message, you've successfully located it. Navigate to the RSVP tab, enter your name, and if your partner is invited, their name will also surface. Choose between attending or not attending.
