We're Getting Married!

Valeria and I met in middle school through her cousin, Arielle. We became great friends through our time in marching band together. She was in color guard, and I was on the drumline. As we transitioned to high school, we had many classes together and a great friendship that included flirting and making each other laugh. I made my intentions known that I wanted to pursue a relationship with her. Unfortunately, the timing wasn't right. She wanted to remain friends. So we graduated and went our separate ways. We reconnected in May 2022 when she sent me a direct message wishing me a Happy Birthday on Facebook. She asked me what I wanted for my birthday, to which I replied, "I can think of a few things..." So we exchanged numbers and stayed in contact until we went on our first date together. It was special! It was like time stood still. We felt like we were in high school again. Even though life dealt us its challenges, God brought us back together, and our time is now! On Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Augusta Marriott and Convention Center, where we had our first date, I asked for her hand in marriage...and she said YES!!! I can't wait to marry my best friend! She is beautiful, loving, and caring. Valeria, I can't wait to make you my wife! I love you! Just when I thought that I was done with love and going to focus on myself, God stepped in. I never thought that I would be marrying my best friend! He is just what I needed at the right time. Love! I needed it back in return instead of always giving. We met in middle school but became close friends in high school. He wanted to date me, but I didn't want to mess that up. On May 17, 2022 (Byron's birthday), I told him Happy Birthday and asked him what he wanted (LOL). Of course, the answer was still the same (LOL)...A date with me (LOL). "I can think of a few things LOL" was his response. And the rest is history. God stepped in and changed our lives forever. I know that it was ALL GOD who made my dreams come true.
