Grab a croissant or quiche Lorraine (but you can’t go wrong with any of their pastries) then go for a stroll on the Katy Trail. They have a few locations throughout the city.

Village Baking Co. Boulangerie - Knox

Stroll around to window shop and enjoy the holiday decorations or enjoy lunch at Mi Cocina.

Highland Park Village

Enjoy a Dallas favorite Tex-Mex spot. Some of our favorites: queso, guacamole, crispy beef tacos, nachos mi tierra, Milo’s combo, taco salad with ground beef, or brisket tacos. Wash it all down with a mambo taxi (frozen swirl margarita).

Mi Cocina

Yes it’s a mall… but it’s a pretty mall with great stores and museum-quality art installations. Great to walk and shop if it’s cold outside.

NorthPark Center

Uber or drive to this cute area in south Dallas - our neighborhood! La Reunion, Village Baking Co., Trades Deli, Jaquval Brewery, and Oddfellows are great for breakfast or lunch.

Bishop Arts District

Uber or drive to one of our favorite breweries (they serve wine too!) in Dallas. Great beer. Great food. Try the fried chicken, beef fat fries, or an arepa (pickled green tomato or braised pork) for brunch or lunch.
